Hey everyone! Thanks for showing interest in playing some pick up softball!
 
My name is Brandon, Im 26 years old and live here in the great city of Providence. We have had great response from both our craigslist posting and from our friends around the city and state. It looks like this is going to be a great summer for softball and we are hoping to get a game going as early as Sunday the 17th. Here is some general information:
 
- Softball is supposed to be a fun way to spend a day outside with friends so we want people with good attitudes
 
- This is an adult league and there will most certainly be a bit a beer invovled so lets try and keep it 21 plus. I dont want to have to ID people          
 
- These are pickup games so attendence is not mandatory
 
- Teams will be picked weekly and everyone who shows up WILL get to play
 
- All skill levels are welcome
 
- This is a slow pitch game with emphasis on lots of hits so there are no called strikes
 
- Remember! This is our city and these are our parks. Please be respectful and clean up after yourselves!
 
- If you have a glove, great! If not we can always share until you get one
 
As of right now we are getting this website up and running and are working on compiling an email list. This website will be a fast way to check on game times, dates and any other information you need. Games will be played on Sundays from 2 to 5. Try to be a little early so you can throw around and get warmed up so we can start right away. All of this is subject to change as we move foward and I will certainly be on top of getting information out to you as fast as I get it. My friend Nico and I have worked very hard on getting this together and we will not let 1 person ruin it for everyone else. We will be going over certain rules reguarding the game and the field weekly and do ask that you respect Us, each other, the field, and the game. This is supposed to be fun and we don't want to have to ask anyone to leave.
